Arsenal will play AC Milan and Newcastle as part of their pre-season tour to Asia this summer.

The Gunners are taking on both sides in Singapore, with the game against AC Milan on July 23 and the clash with Newcastle taking place four days later.

Both matches will take place at the National Stadium, which has a capacity of 55,000. Arsenal have played there before, in both 2015 and 2018.

Mikel Arteta’s side will later fly to Hong Kong to conclude their pre-season tour of Asia with a game against north London rivals Tottenham.

Arsenal will take on Spurs in the recently opened Kai Tak Stadium, where Liverpool are also playing this summer.

They will then travel back to the UK to finalise preparations for the new Premier League season, which is due to start on August 16.

“It’s great that we’re coming back to Singapore in July to play against two quality opponents and meet so many of our brilliant supporters,” said Arsenal’s managing director Richard Garlick.

“Our men’s first team squad enjoyed trips to Singapore in both 2015 and 2018, when we made some great memories playing in the impressive National Stadium, where we’ll return to play again this year.

“Our trip will give us the opportunity to connect with our supporters in this beautiful region, with the matches against AC Milan and Newcastle United promising to produce two exciting games, providing the squad with high-quality preparation ahead of the new season.”
