SAG Awards: Historical drama Shōgun sweeps first television awards

After having its nomination event cancelled due to the Los Angeles wildfires, the 2025 Screen Actors Guild awards are underway.

Major musical Wicked leads the film categories with five nominations. Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown isn’t far behind with four.

Shōgun leads nominations for television, having already won an SAG award for the stunt performances in the show.

Action movie The Fall Guy, which was filmed around Sydney, also picked up an early award for outstanding stunt performance in film.
