Teenagers arrested in major Oxfordshire drugs bust

Those arrested include three men from Witney, aged between 18 and 21, a 20-year-old man from Shrivenham and a 19-year-old man from Bicester.

They are suspected of drugs and child exploitation offences; meanwhile, one 17-year-old boy was also detained on suspicion of drugs offences.

The busts were carried out at 6am this morning with properties targeted including in Farmers Close, Water Lane, Apley Way, and Burwell Drive (Witney); Folly View (Faringdon); and Hornbeam Road (Bicester).

A spokesperson for police said: “This is a part of our commitment to tackling drug-related offences in the Thames Valley.”

They added that officers will remain present as the service continues its investigations and that there is no threat to the public.
